Bigotry on display

Christopher Hitchens demonstrates the hypocritical bigotry of the "tolerant" Left. I'm a conservative Christian. I'm unashamed of that fact. There are a lot of people like me, and the numbers are growing. We vote our values. But to people like Hitchens, this is dangerous. We are dangerous. I am dangerous. What's next - forcing me to sew a yellow cross on my shirt?

I think you need to re-read the article. He's not asking you to sew a yellow star or anything else. He's saying he's tired of hearing the right wing tripe of its "God's will" that people support stupid political positions.

I agree with him. And the Barry Goldwater quote is great. It is possible to dislike George W Bush and still be a Christian. To many religious groups are losing sight of that.

Actually, his point is that persons of faith who act on the tenets of their faith are stupid. That slots right in with the anti-Christian bigotry on display more and more. The only group that it's OK to bash and remain PC is Christians.

While Jesus spent time with tax collectors and prostitutes, he wasn't one himself.
